There are several resources in the local area if you would like to join a daylily club to learn more about these easy care plants.

The Columbia River Daylily Club (CRDC) and the Willamette Valley Daylily Club (WVDC) offer wonderful comraderie for daylily enthusiasts. The local club dues are reasonably priced...about $5-$10 per year...and the membership meets about four to six times a year. It is an opportunity to hear from noted national hybridizers at one of the frequent seminars, exchange information with other gardeners, visit Open Gardens and gives you access to some cutting edge plants during Club plant sales.

The Columbia River group generally meets just off I-5 in Vancouver WA. Visit their web-site at www.columbiariverdaylilyclub.org

The Willamette Valley meetings are usually held in Salem OR. Please contact me if you would like more information abou this great organization.

On a national level, membership in the American Hemerocallis Society offers many benefits for daylily lovers.
To learn more, visit their web-site at www.daylilies.org

Charlotte Chamitoff maintains an extensive web-site with comprehensive and fascinating views on all aspects of hemerocallis. Here you will find links to other hybridizers, growers, gardens and related articles on both a national and international level. Check out Charlotte's Daylily Diary at http://www.daylilydiary.com. I give you fair warning - if you enjoy daylilies, grab a Snickers ... you'll be here for awhile!
